The lady lions softball team traveled to Holland tonight. The JV squad started the night with an 11-9 victory. The varsity squad took a tough loss tonight. Defensive miscues put them behind early and never could get the offense going. Next game is Monday in Granger at 11am. 
The varsity baseball team picked up a big win over Round Top Carmine 14-0. Wyatt Rochner got the win on the mound, striking out 6 and Mike Selucky came in relief to finish the combined no hitter. Both teams will play Tuesday vs Bartlett starting with JV at 11 and varsity at 1:30.

The boys and girls high school track teams will travel to Holland today to compete at the Rosa Relays! Here is the schedule for the meet! 


The JV and varsity baseball teams traveled to Bremond to open district play. The JV was able to score runs early and seal the win. The varsity had a tough game and dropped their district opener. Varsity will play at Round Top Carmine at 4:30 PM on Friday. 
Lady Lions traveled to Bremond tonight and fell short. The girls started hot, putting 2 runs up in the first. It was a back and forth battle with the bottom of the 5th hurting Granger the most. Shout out to Abi Crouch and Ari Herrera for their first dingers! @ Holland Friday.

UPDATE: Parent cheer meeting is being moved to Thursday at 5:30 in the cafeteria! 

Due to the probability of inclement weather, the high school track meet in Holland has been moved to tomorrow, Wednesday, March 6th. The times will be the same. 
The junior high track team traveled to Holland last night. The 7th grade boys finished 4th out of 8 teams. The 8th grade boys finished 1st as a team for the second week in a row.

The lady lion softball team posted two ties on day 2 of the Taylor tournament. Timely hitting kept the lady lions in the game. They return to district play Tuesday in Bremond at 6pm. 
The varsity baseball team went 1-1 today in the Salado Tournament with a win over Liberty Hill and a tough loss to Burnet. They will finish the weekend with a game tomorrow at 9 AM in Salado. 
The lady lion softball team dropped two games today in the Taylor tournament. They will be back in action Saturday 11:10 & 1:30 at the Taylor Regional Complex. .

Due to weather conditions in Bremond this evening, the High School Track meet has been postponed and will not be rescheduled. Your Lady Lion and Lion Track Teams will be headed back to Granger shortly.

Granger FFA is partnering with Manor FFA to collect items for victims of the Panhandle wildfires. Please view the list of items below if you would like to donate. We will be collecting items until Thursday, March 7. Please bring any of the eligible items you would like to donate to the Ag Building before then.

Granger FFA hosted a coloring contest for our Elementary in honor of National FFA Week, February 18-24. 
We announced the winners of the contest today! 1st place winners have had their coloring pages sent to the State FFA Association for the State wide contest. Winners will be announced Friday.
