The varsity baseball team had a big win today over Chilton in the off and on rainy conditions. Catch both JV and varsity on Tuesday in Milano starting at 4:30 PM.
The Lady Lion softball team took care of the Chilton Lady Pirates 22-1. Congrats to Kinsey Vitek on her Grand Slam today. They will be back in action Tuesday in Milano at 6pm.
Saturday's JV baseball doubleheader at Brentwood Christian has been canceled due to rain
Due to weather the baseball game is moved to Thrall with varsity starting at 1:00 and JV after weather permitting.

Due to concerns with weather, Granger Lion Baseball will play varsity first at 1 PM tomorrow versus Thrall with the JV game following.
The Lady Lions came out hot tonight at the Axtell Relays, finishing 2nd place in the Varsity and Jr. Varsity Competition. With only 17 total girls, PR's were the theme of the night. Catch these ladies next Thursday in Thorndale! #WeComing
The high school track team traveled to Axtell today and competed hard. We got a first place in the long jump, 2nd and 3rd in high jump, 4th in the 2 mile, and ran a season best in the 4x400 relay. We will be looking to build on these successes next Thursday in Thorndale.
The JV and varsity baseball teams hosted Bartlett today at home. The JV was able to pull out a victory in a close ones. Varsity dropped the home opener, a big thanks to the great crowd and support for both teams!
The Lady Lion softball team played a great defensive game on top of a solid pitching performance. Ari Herrera got the win with Payton Filla closing the door in the 7th over the Thrall Tigerettes. 3-2 victory. Back in action Saturday in Granger at Noon.

I am proud to announce the Granger Lion cheerleaders for the 2024-2025 season! It took immense bravery and courage to showcase your skills and passion for cheerleading. This year we had 37 cheerleader's tryout, due to this large we were able to introduce a JV squad!

Due to forecasted weather, the Axtell HS Track meet scheduled for Thursday has been moved to Wednesday of this week. Track athletes need to be ready to leave the school at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 13th!

Congratulations to Connor Vanek for receiving honors as a District 27-2A Crew Member and Leeah Malone and Joseph Campos who received honors as District 27-2A All Star Cast! Our season came to a close Thursday, but the entire cast and crew worked extremely hard and made GHS proud!
