A new tradition began at Granger ISD last week!
During our first Passing Down of School Spirit ceremony, our seniors shared a special moment with our PreK and Kindergarten students as they symbolically passed the spirit of Granger on to the next generation.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so meaningful and memorable. To the Class of 2026, we are proud of you and wish you success in all that comes next. To our youngest Lions, good luck as you begin your school journey — the future is bright!

About three months ago, Marisa came to me and said that she would like to start an art club for Granger. Last week, with the help of her friends, family, fellow artists, and community members, she put on an art show for our secondary school artists to show off to the community their amazing talent. I am beyond impressed with the successful event that she was able to hold in such a short amount of time! If you missed it this year, don't worry! Plans are already being made for next year to expand this project. Please be on the lookout, and support this ambitious young lady and others in their endeavors to ebhace the Granger community by putting its local artists on display for all to see!

Thursday was the last day for our 6th graders here at Granger Elementary. While we are sad to see them leave us, we are so excited for what comes next for these kids. We can't wait to see all they accomplish and how far life takes them. Wishing the Class of 2032 the very best as they begin this next chapter. We'll be cheering you on every step of the way!

As a reminder, today is an Early Release Day:
• Elementary – 12:55 PM
• Secondary – 1:00 PM
We wish you and your family a safe and enjoyable summer!

Our “Principals for the Day” demonstrated excellent leadership, responsibility, and school spirit throughout their experience. We are so proud of the positive example they set for their classmates and the joy they brought to every task.

Our Granger students picked the category "Distracted Driving" to create their digital design with their slogan being "Eye's Up, Lives On". The students ended up winning in three categories competing with schools in Texas and Missouri. Our Lions won three trophies, Best Distracted Driving PSA, Best Illustrated, and Best PSA Gold Award.
This is a HUGE accomplishment for these students! Congratulations to Coach Shelby's 5th period Graphic Design Class!

Granger ISD is a great place to learn, lead, and grow. We’re looking for passionate individuals to join our Pride and help our Lions succeed!

Please note that the schedule can change.
