As we celebrate Homecoming Week, Granger ISD is excited to kick off our new Granger Alumni Spotlight!
Each month we will feature a Granger Alumni and share where life has taken them since their days at GISD. From career accomplishments and community involvement to personal milestones and unique journeys, every story is worth sharing. Know a Granger graduate you'd like to see featured? It’s been a busy and exciting Homecoming Week at Granger ISD!
Yesterday, our students switched things up for Reverse Dress-Up Day, and today they kept it comfy for Pajama Day!
Don’t forget—tomorrow is Throwback Thursday! Dress in your favorite ’90s or 2000s style and keep that Lion spirit going.
All three JH teams took on Thorndale today and battled hard from start to finish! Although we fell short, we are proud of the fight and effort our Lady Lions showed on the court. 💜🏐
Our next game will be against McDade next Tuesday at 5 PM. Location is TBD.

Great start to Homecoming Week with 2 wins against McDade! JV-A won in 2 and Varsity in 4.
Next stop is Thursday at Holland. All 3 teams will play starting at 5.

Our Lions showed up for BBQ Dads vs. Soccer Moms Day and definitely understood the assignment! We loved seeing all the fun outfits and school spirit around campus today.
Remember, tomorrow is Teacher vs. Students Day! Have your student dress up as their favorite teacher!. We can’t wait to see who they choose!

What a day for our Cross Country teams!
These athletes show incredible dedication, competing every Saturday morning after a long Friday night of football. They wake up early, lace up, and hit the course ready to compete—and they continue to PR week after week!
Today, Brooklyn, Brynley, Parker, Kennedy, and Ricky all earned individual medals! 🏅
To top it all off, our Junior High Girls team placed 2nd overall as a team and for the second week in a row earned that team title!
So proud of the hard work, determination, and commitment these athletes continue to show. Way to go, Cross Country!
