About three months ago, Marisa came to me and said that she would like to start an art club for Granger. Last week, with the help of her friends, family, fellow artists, and community members, she put on an art show for our secondary school artists to show off to the community their amazing talent. I am beyond impressed with the successful event that she was able to hold in such a short amount of time! If you missed it this year, don't worry! Plans are already being made for next year to expand this project. Please be on the lookout, and support this ambitious young lady and others in their endeavors to ebhace the Granger community by putting its local artists on display for all to see!

Thursday was the last day for our 6th graders here at Granger Elementary. While we are sad to see them leave us, we are so excited for what comes next for these kids. We can't wait to see all they accomplish and how far life takes them. Wishing the Class of 2032 the very best as they begin this next chapter. We'll be cheering you on every step of the way!

As a reminder, today is an Early Release Day:
• Elementary – 12:55 PM
• Secondary – 1:00 PM
We wish you and your family a safe and enjoyable summer!

Our “Principals for the Day” demonstrated excellent leadership, responsibility, and school spirit throughout their experience. We are so proud of the positive example they set for their classmates and the joy they brought to every task.

Our Granger students picked the category "Distracted Driving" to create their digital design with their slogan being "Eye's Up, Lives On". The students ended up winning in three categories competing with schools in Texas and Missouri. Our Lions won three trophies, Best Distracted Driving PSA, Best Illustrated, and Best PSA Gold Award.
This is a HUGE accomplishment for these students! Congratulations to Coach Shelby's 5th period Graphic Design Class!

🎉 Please help us congratulate Lola Finch on placing 5th in Copy Editing today at the UIL Academic State Meet!
We are incredibly proud of Lola and all she has accomplished. She truly deserves this recognition. Lola has worked tirelessly and spent countless hours studying on her own to make this achievement possible.
This marks Lola’s second appearance at the State Meet for Copy Editing, and we believe this is the first time since 2011 that a Granger student has placed at the state level. What an honor it was to hear Granger called during the awards ceremony!
While we will miss her terribly, we wish her the very best in her post-secondary career and hope future Granger students will follow in her footsteps.
Congratulations, Lola! You have earned every bit of this success! 💜🦁
