Lion Family, we hope to see you Friday night at the Lion's Den as our football team opens its season vs. Louise High School for a 7:00 pm kickoff. A few pieces of information for the season as we get started: Ticket Gates will open at 6:00 pm, tickets are $5.00 and $3.00. Our concession stand is going cashless this year and only accepting cards. If you have someone who participated in GYAA or our Mini-Cheer Camp, make sure they come along as we will recognize them before the game. Attached is the map of our parking lot with parking information. We hope to see you on Friday!

The Junior High Lady Lion volleyball teams traveled to Thorndale tonight for their season opener. All three teams showed heart and hustle in their respective matches, but came up short. They will be back in action on Thursday, August 27th in Granger versus McDade starting at 5pm. Go Lady Lions.

There is an anticipated city road closure that will alter your route options leaving GISD Elementary’s Campus in the coming days. Please see the attached map for details on route options when the closure begins. The city anticipates this closure to be in place for a few weeks and we will communicate timeline information as the project progresses.
Lion Family, attached is a map of where to park if you plan on attending the football scrimmage tonight in Rogers. If you park in the home gate, you will not be able to get to the visitors side, and if you do not park in the visitors parking lot, it will be a long walk. JV begins at 6:00 pm, and Varsity should start around 7:00 pm. We hope to see you there!

Granger ISD would like to send a huge thank you to H-E-B Emergency Preparedness for their donation and deliver of four pallets of water to the district for water emergency situations.
All 3 teams were in action today at Rockdale. JV-B lost in 2. JV-A won in 3. And Varsity won in 3 sets.
Varsity Volleyball will be playing at the Rockdale Tournament Thursday and Saturday this week.
