The Junior High Lady Lion volleyball teams traveled to Thorndale tonight for their season opener. All three teams showed heart and hustle in their respective matches, but came up short. They will be back in action on Thursday, August 27th in Granger versus McDade starting at 5pm. Go Lady Lions.

There is an anticipated city road closure that will alter your route options leaving GISD Elementary’s Campus in the coming days. Please see the attached map for details on route options when the closure begins. The city anticipates this closure to be in place for a few weeks and we will communicate timeline information as the project progresses.

Lion Family, attached is a map of where to park if you plan on attending the football scrimmage tonight in Rogers. If you park in the home gate, you will not be able to get to the visitors side, and if you do not park in the visitors parking lot, it will be a long walk. JV begins at 6:00 pm, and Varsity should start around 7:00 pm. We hope to see you there!

THE ROAR STORE IS BACK!
With the start of a new school year, we are excited to open our ROAR Store once again!
The ROAR Store rewards our Pre-K through 6th grade students for demonstrating positive behavior and our ROAR traits throughout the school day.
We are now accepting donations of new or gently used toys, balls, games, and other kid-friendly items.
Donations may be dropped off at the Elementary Office from 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Granger ISD families who will be utilizing bus transportation for the 2026–2027 school year are asked to complete the Bus Transportation Form using the link below.
Please complete a separate form for each student who will be riding the bus.
This information will help our Transportation Department ensure we have accurate student, pickup/drop-off, and transportation information for the school year.
