September is National Preparedness Month. Granger ISD wants to make sure that all of our families are prepared for a disaster by making a family plan and talking about it at home. FEMA's campaign has taken the month to encourage Americans to prepare for emergencies by being in the know, making a plan, building a kit and being there for your community. This is the link to the National Preparedness Month: https://www.ready.gov/stand-ready. Attached is a template on how to make a plan and a checklist for making an emergency kit. As we continue to remember 9/11, lets prepare together for an emergency and lets get Americans to Stand Ready!

Today we’re recognizing our IT Director, Pedro Rivera, for everything he does to keep Granger ISD connected, supported, and moving forward.
So much of what happens behind the scenes each day depends on technology and on someone who is always willing to troubleshoot a problem, answer a question, find a solution, or simply help when help is needed.
We’re especially grateful to have someone who not only does his job exceptionally well, but is genuinely a great person to work with.

Out of our 17 Lions who competed, 9 brought home a Top 10 medal! What an incredible accomplishment!
Our Junior High Lady Lions had an outstanding day, with every runner placing in the Top 10 and earning an individual medal! 🏅 They also came together as a team and brought home the Overall 1st Place Team Championship! 🏆
We are so proud of the hard work, determination, and heart these athletes showed today. Way to represent Granger! We couldn’t be prouder!

The Mixed and 8th Grade teams battled hard but fell in two sets. The 7th Grade team came away with an exciting victory in a thrilling three-set match!
