What an incredible week at NCA Cheer Camp at Tarleton State University! The Granger HS Cheer Team is coming home with some amazing accomplishments, and we could not be more proud of these athletes and everything they achieved throughout the week. 🏆 Top Team in the Large Varsity Division for both our Cheer and Chant performances Superior Blue Ribbons in: • Band Chant • Situational Cheer • Cheer Performance ⭐ Herkie Award Recipient ⭐ SAFE Stunting Award ⭐ Best Prop Incorporation Award ⭐ NFHS Credentials Earned A special congratulations to Audrie Huf and Lyla Jane (LJ) White for being selected to the NCA All-American Team! We would also like to recognize our mascot, Leo the Lion, Kate Daugherty, for being named an NCA All-American Mascot and receiving the Outstanding Character Award for her sportsmanship, leadership, and positive attitude throughout camp. Most importantly, these athletes represented Granger with pride,and continued building the championship culture that makes our program so special. We are beyond proud of every member of the Granger HS Cheer Team. Congratulations on an outstanding camp and a great start to the 2026-2027 season!

Reminder about shooting camp tomorrow for incoming 7th-12th grade boys and girls. The first session from 9-11 will be at the ELEMENTARY gym and the 1-3 session will be at the LIONS DEN on the new campus

Starting June 10 for STAAR end-of-course (EOC) assessments, June 11 for TELPAS, and June 16 for STAAR grades 3–8 assessments, you can easily access your student’s 2026 Texas Assessment results. Log in to your district’s parent portal, and you’ll be able to see your student’s results, how they answered each question, what they mastered, and which areas they might need extra support. At our most recent Granger ISD School Board Meeting on May 13, 2026, newly elected Board Members Ricky Luna and Jen David, as well as re-elected Board Member Jason Huf were sworn in to office.

For all boys and girls in the basketball program, if you are looking for an opportunity to improve over the summer, this is your chance! Shooting camp with former coach Alvie King on Thursday June 11th!

REMINDER about camps for tomorrow! Basketball camp will be in the new secondary gym starting at 9:00 going until 11:00 Tuesday through Thursday. Bring a lunch and hang around if you'd like to also attend football camp that will be from 12 to 2!

It's in the books. Another great year of Lion Baseball Camp! Almost 40 future Lion Athletes was an awesome turnout! Love seeing these kids grow year after year.
