The Lady Lions varsity basketball team started the New Year with a win against the Milano Eagles tonight. Catch them in action on Tuesday, 1/6, against Rosebud-Lott!
The varsity boys were back in Rosebud Lott today to finish up the tournament. They went 1-1, to finish the tournament 2-2 overall. Both JV and varsity will be in Milano on Friday to kickoff district play!
After playing in the Mumford Tournament the past two days, the Lady Lions basketball team walked away with a win against Round Top- Carmine. District resumes on Friday, 1/2, in Milano. Varsity girls will play after the JV boys game. JV boys start at 3:00p.m.
After a little break, the Varsity boys were back on the road for 2 games in the Rosebud Lott tournament. The boys went 1-1 today, and will be back in Rosebud for 2 more games tomorrow, with the first starting at 9:30.
The JV and Varsity boys traveled to Johnson city this morning. Both teams picked up wins before going on break. Varsity will be back on the court at the rosebud-Lott tournament on Monday, 12/29.
Lady Lions basketball played the Bartlett Bulldogs tonight in a hard fought battle. Although the Lions did not walk away with a win, they came and competed. Catch them in action on Monday, 12/29, for Day one of the Mumford Tournament.
The varsity boys basketball team started off the Christmas break with a win against Round-Top-Carmine! Both the JV and varsity will be back in action in Johnson City @ 11:00 on Monday.

Our Granger One Act Play performed well yesterday at the District Festival Competition. We are all thankful for the opportunity the district provided for us to compete at this event.
Five students received awards: Liam LeClere received the Tech award; Brynley Huber, Tatym Huf, and Addilynn Word each received the Honorable Mention All-Star Cast award; and Tinslee Kelm received the All-Star Cast award. Great job!!
I would also like to recognize three students for their dedication, focus, and willingness throughout the semester: Sara Kuhl, Karma Ruemke, and Addilynn Word. They were exemplary in their attitude and behavior!
We did not place this year, but we all learned valuable lessons, especially considering none of our cast had been on a stage before! I am so proud of them and am looking forward to watching them grow over the years!

Tomorrow is one of the days our elementary students look forward to most, Polar Express Day! Students will get to wear their pajamas, sip hot chocolate, and enjoy The Polar Express movie for a cozy, fun-filled day.
This week has been a very busy one around here with spirit week themes and the last week of school before the break, but we can’t forget Santa’s visit on Monday! The smiles, excitement, and pure joy from our kids made it extra special, and they absolutely loved every moment. A huge thank you to our special senior, Keegan Cotten, without him, this wouldn’t have been possible 😉

December 7-13, Granger ISD students in our FFA Chapter and local 4-H clubs competed in the WCLA Livestock Show and Wilco Youth Fair. Many many hours go into these projects, and the life skills & knowledge gained from them are irreplaceable.
These students are your future leaders and they represented our district so well! 💛💙🍀
The boys basketball teams traveled to Snook tonight. The JV started off with 35-26 win. The varsity fought hard in a close game but fell 42-37 to the Blue Jays
