This past week, the Granger High School Band traveled to Bastrop to participate in the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluationāand came home with some historic results!
Our band earned First Division ratings from all six judges, making this the first time in Granger history that weāve received straight 1ās from every judge at UIL. Even more exciting, thanks to their outstanding performance during the fall marching season (where they also received all First Division ratings) they have now earned the prestigious UIL Sweepstakes Award, which recognizes the program's commitment to excellence throughout the entire year.
Weāre incredibly proud of our students and all the hard work theyāve put in to achieve this level of success. This is a huge moment for our band program and our school. Please help us celebrate this amazing accomplishment!
