The 95th meeting of The Battle of Hwy 95 is around the corner with the Lions facing the Bulldogs September 27th! The all-time series that dates back to 1917 is led by your Lions with an overall record of 55-31-2. The Lions are looking to make it 10 consecutive years of defeating the Bulldogs. Our Lady Lion Volleyball JV teams had a strong outing at our home JV tournament today.

Each team faced Thorndale JV Gold and Milano JV. They ended with a Granger showdown, playing each other.
Our JVA team took the tournament going undefeated! 💜
Next games will be Tuesday, 9/10, as JVA and Varsity travel to Marlin.

Coach Pedro Rivera has been nominated for the Carl J. Schaefer Memorial Award! This prestigious award honors exceptional career and technical educators, and Pedro’s work is a great example of what this award represents.
Coach Rivera has made a significant impact through his leadership in the Arts, A/V Technology, and Communications programs. His efforts include involving students in creating promotional materials for athletic events and providing graphic design support for school organizations. These projects not only enhance our community but also give students valuable, hands-on experience.

The Granger Jr High volleyball Teams played against the Thorndale Bulldogs in 3 tough matches. They showed incredible progress & hard work on the court. Though the score didn’t reflect a win, their determination and improvement were evident. Next game is Sept. 9th in Granger.
Saturday, Sept. 7th, Granger will be hosting a JV Volleyball Tournament.
JVB will play 9am and 12pm
JVA will play at 10am and 11am
They will end the day with a face-off against each other at 2pm.
