Granger ISD experienced a fire alarm trigger this afternoon. Local fire and law enforcement responded in a fast and effective manner and investigated the cause. Students and faculty are all safe and normal operations are back in place.

Lady Lions Volleyball took 2nd Place in the Silver Bracket of the Clifton Tournament this weekend!

They won in three sets against Valor Prep to make it to the championship game where they came up short against Alvarado.
All teams will be back in action Tuesday, Sept 3rd at Shoemaker High School.
JVB & JVA will play at 5:30pm and varsity will follow.

High School XC put in work today!! The strives these runners made from last weekend in Belton to today in Mcgregor is unbelievable! Each athlete PR'd and as a team got faster by 9 and a half minutes!! Granger strong!! #XC2024
Junior High had their first cross country meet of the season and these kids let everyone know who Granger is!! Our 7th grader Luke Tucker came out with some speed for his first time ever running and placed 1st with a 13:14 time out of 43 runners bringing home a medal!! Another first time runner Kendra Benavides placed 9th out of 75 runners! One 8th grade runner Cohen Repa placed 3rd out of 52 runners, running a 12:41!
Not only did those three place but all of our runner excelled today!! Each kid gave everything they had and we are proud of them!! The future is bright for these junior high runners this season!!
Our Lady Lions Varsity Volleyball returns to Clifton tomorrow for day two of tournament play.

Our Varsity Lady Lions competed in the Clifton tournament today playing against Clifton, Alvarado, and Jacksboro.
They continue to improve their skills and it paid off in their second match as they took down the Alvarado Indians in two sets.
