In recognition of Custodial Staff appreciation week we would like to express our greatest appreciation to, Mrs. Audelia Sifuentes. Delia is completing her 5th year with Granger ISD. When asked what is her favorite thing about working at Granger ISD Delia said. "I enjoy watching the students grow and succeed. I also get to see my grandkids every day and work with amazing people." During her free time she enjoys playing basketball and kickball with her grandkids and helping with her great grandbabies. Thank you Mrs. Delia for all of your hard work, commitment, and love towards Granger ISD!

The Junior High Volleyball teams played Coupland and McDade tonight. All three teams came out and played their best! Catch them in action next week against Thorndale.

Due to two schools dropping out of district play, our football schedule has changed. Because of this, Homecoming Week has also been moved as well. Homecoming Spirit Week will now be Wednesday, October 15 – Friday, October 17.

The Granger Marching Band had an outstanding showing at the Capital City Marching Festival in Austin earlier today. Of the 2A-4A bands in attendance, Granger received 2nd place!
This is a great result for their first competition of the season. Please join us in congratulating them and cheering them on as they continue preparing for their future competitions!

Thank you to everyone that came out and were loud today as the Lady Lions Varsity and JV-A volleyball took down Thorndale. JV-B had a hard fought game losing in 3 sets. Varsity volleyball remains undefeated in district going 3-0 now.

The 7th grade volleyball team attended the Rockdale JH Tournament today. They played against Giddings, Lamar, and Travis for three skill developing games learning new roles and positions.
Catch all three junior high teams in action on Monday, 9/29, in the Lions Den. Mixed team plays first starting at 5pm.
Your Granger Lions football team played a great game against Bartlett tonight. Final score 77-31 Lions Victory!
