Junior high Lady Lion basketball has come to an end. Our 7th and 8th graders earned themselves a win against Rosebud-Lott tonight. These girls learned a lot and improved on their skills from the start of the season to now. Next up, track season!

There will be a tennis parent meeting this Wednesday, 2/11, at 6pm in the Competition Gym. It is for high school players only! The junior high parent meeting will be after track season.

Winter Sports Media Day 2026 took place this morning in our Student Center! Thank you to all students, staff, and coaches who played a part in making this happen!

BACK TO BACK DISTRICT CHAMPS! Our Lady Lions finished district play tonight against the Thorndale Lady Dogs. Stay tuned for Game 1 of playoffs. 🏀🦁🏀

We loved celebrating our students with Positive Referrals this week! These students were recognized for making great choices and showing kindness every day. Keep it up!

GAMEDAY! Basketball will travel to Thorndale tonight for district basketball games. Both JV boys and girls will start at 4:30. Varsity girls around 6:00 and varsity boys to follow.

The Lion's Eye, alongside Yearbook and Graphic Design, will be hosting Winter Varsity Sports athletes for a GHS Media Day tomorrow, Saturday, February 7, starting @ 9:00 am.

Respective coaches have/will provide more information to our student athletes.

Early Release – Monday, February 9
Elementary students will be released at 12:55 PM, with secondary dismissal to follow at 1:00 PM. Parent/Teacher Conferences will begin at 1:00 PM. Please be sure to make transportation arrangements accordingly.

Junior high Lady Lions played the Milano Eagles tonight and walked away with two wins. Both teams got on the court and showed our spectators just what we've been practicing! Their last game of the season is this Monday, 2/9, in Rosebud-Lott.
