The Lady Lion Softball Team opened up their season at home tonight. The JV team played hard but came up short. Varsity came out hot scoring two in the first inning, but the Lady Lions would eventually fall short in a back and forth scoring event.

Boys HS Basketball: Season Finales took place for both our JV and Varsity tonight in Milano. JV lost in a tough one, final score being 24-27.
Varsity would go on to beat the Eagles by a score of 69-38! T. Herrera scored 30 points to lead the Lions.
As this season comes to an end, our coaching staff thanks our boys for the tireless effort and time they gave to represent Granger Basketball. We also thank everyone who came out to support both of our teams throughout the year and thanks to anyone who helped us in any capacity.
What a season... Thank you to all of our fans who came out to Giddings and supported the Lady Lions tonight. The road for the Lady Lions ended tonight in a loss to Flatonia. Granger ISD is so proud of the Lady Lions and their grit, pride, and perseverance through the season. #FAW

The Granger Lady Lions took it to Bartlett tonight in a 59-40 victory to clinch the 3rd place in the district!!! Thank you to Thrall ISD for hosting tonight's game! Bi-District championship will be played Monday against Flatonia at Giddings HS with a 6:00 pm tip off! #FAW!
Boys HS Basketball: Despite fighting hard for 4 quarters, final score vs the Hearne Eagles tonight was a 51-45 loss for our Varsity.
Seniors Joseph C., Trae H. & Mike S. played the final home games of their basketball playing careers as Lions. We would like to truly thank these three young men for their leadership, effort, and dedication to our Granger Lion basketball program.
6th grade health class had a guest visitor today to talk about the importance of nutrition. Thank you to Mrs Amy Tucker, registered dietitian of 24 yrars for educating these young students about what they can do as 6th graders to stay healthy now and in the future.
