Clarification and Reminder: Lion's Eye Media Day for September 21st is for Varsity Football and Varsity Volleyball players only. It is an opportunity for our student-athletes to have professional photos taken in full uniform (free of charge). It is also a chance for our AV Production students to get experience in a professional photo shoot in which they will set-up, execute the photo shoot, and shut-down. As a reminder, this is completely optional for football and volleyball players, but we would appreciate as many players as possible coming out and contributing to this experience for our AV Production team.

This is a reminder that GISD is closed tomorrow, Friday, September 20th, 2024! Enjoy your weekend! We can’t wait to see our students on Monday morning!

We want to give a shout out to The Assistance League of Georgetown for their gracious donation of supplies to Mrs. Vanek's first grade class through their Just-in-time teacher assistance grant program. This initiative provides immediate access to classroom supplies. Mrs. Vanek was awarded supplies for her art lessons. We are so thankful for the generous donations the Assistance League of Georgetown provides to our classrooms & students.

Get your ticket for the Granger Livestock Booster Club Benefit Dinner this Saturday, the 21st at SSCM Hall! All proceeds support our Granger FFA and Granger 4-H students at GISD! Please contact Danielle Hamende for more information: (512) 947-0918
