Lady Lion Varsity volleyball finished out their tournament season at the Clifton tournament. Went 1-1 today, losing in the silver championship game.
Look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday at they take on Bremond at home.

Varsity Football - the game against Thorndale is moving to Thursday night, still at 7:00 pm, in Taylor JV Football - the game at Thorndale is moving to Friday, still in Thorndale, still at 6:00 pm JH Football - the scrimmage against Thrall is moving to Wednesday, still in Thrall, still at 5:00 pm JH Volleyball - the game against Thorndale is moving to Wednesday, still at home, still at 5:00 pm

This weeks Pep Rally will held Friday, August 29 @1:41pm, on the football field at 301 N. Colorado . The theme is Hunt for a Win against Johnson City, so everyone where Camo! This year we are making a few changes to keep the safety of our students and staff a top priority. If you plan on attending, please complete this form: Pep Rally Check In Form Visitor badges will be pre-printed Thursday afternoon for anyone who has previously scanned their valid Texas driver’s license into our Raptor System. Pre-printed badges can be picked up 15 minutes prior to the pep rally at the event location.
If you have not had your license scanned at a GISD office for the 2025–2026 school year, please do so before the pep rally begins. (Offices are open Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, and Friday before the pep rally.) Please Note: Since this week’s announcement is coming out on Thursday, we know it doesn’t leave much time to complete the form. Don’t worry—starting next week, the pep rally link will be posted every Monday during weeks when we are having a pep rally.
After the school day ends on Thursday, the form will no longer be monitored. At that point, you will need to check in at any campus office.

JH Lady Lion volleyball teams played the McDade Bulldogs tonight in round one of district play. The 7th grade team dominated the court with a win and the 8th grade team fought hard for every point but came up short.
