The Granger Lady Lions took it to Bartlett tonight in a 59-40 victory to clinch the 3rd place in the district!!! Thank you to Thrall ISD for hosting tonight's game! Bi-District championship will be played Monday against Flatonia at Giddings HS with a 6:00 pm tip off! #FAW!
Boys HS Basketball: Despite fighting hard for 4 quarters, final score vs the Hearne Eagles tonight was a 51-45 loss for our Varsity.
Seniors Joseph C., Trae H. & Mike S. played the final home games of their basketball playing careers as Lions. We would like to truly thank these three young men for their leadership, effort, and dedication to our Granger Lion basketball program.
6th grade health class had a guest visitor today to talk about the importance of nutrition. Thank you to Mrs Amy Tucker, registered dietitian of 24 yrars for educating these young students about what they can do as 6th graders to stay healthy now and in the future.

Boys HS Basketball: JV and Varsity took on the Holland Hornets today at home. JV was able to defeat Holland JV by a score of 17-28. Varsity would later lose to the Hornets in a 46-40 game.
It was a great night in the Lions Den for your Lady Lions!!! JV started the evening off with a 2 point victory over Holland to clinch the district championship!!! Varsity took down Holland by 5 to get a shot at the playoffs. Details will be announced tomorrow morning! #FAW

JH Track Practice begins on Monday, February 12th, 2024 at 7:15 AM. Our JH track plan remains the same as all other JH sports. Monday-Thursday 7:15 AM start with a Friday start time of 7:45 AM. Locker rooms will be open at 7:00 AM on Monday-Thursday and 7:25 AM on Fridays. #GJHSTrackAndFieldjj #WeFightTogether
