Boys HS Basketball: JV took a tough loss vs Thorndale JV today at home; leading scorers being C. Carpenter (10 pts) & A. Lizardo (8 pts). Varsity would go on to lose their matchup with the Bulldogs in a 47-37 game. The Lions were led by C. Tucker (13 pts) & I. Campos (10 pts).
WHAT A NIGHT AT THE LIONS DEN! JV started the night off with a 32-28 win! Leading scorer was Jasmine Leamer. Varsity followed with a nail biting, hard faught, overall team effort 34-33 victory over Thorndale. Bye date next Tuesday, but a big one next Friday in Bartlett at 6 pm!

Boys HS Basketball: JV was able to win a close one vs Thrall JV, the score being 31-28. JV was led by A. Lizardo (9 pts) & S. Rogers (7 pts). Varsity would go on to lose their contest vs the Tigers by a score of 36-54. Granger was led by I. Campos (14 pts) & T. Herrera (11 pts).
The Lady Lions traveled to Thrall tonight to take on the Tigerettes. Unfortunately, both teams fell short. Big games being played vs Thorndale, Friday in the Lions Den with JV tipping off at 4:30 in the old gym & varsity at 6 pm in the competition gym. Come out, be loud, & FAW!

Today the Lady Lions JV Basketball team competed in the Georgetown Freshman Tournament coming out with three solid wins! Each of the girls came to play, got experience and developed their skills. Catch them on Tuesday in Thrall for their next game.

Boys HS Basketball: JV came out strong but would eventually fall to Milano JV by a score of 33-27. A. Lizardo (11 pts) and S. Rogers (9 pts) led the Lions in scoring. Boys Varsity came out with a victory against the Eagles in a 23-45 game. T. Herrera led the team with 20 points.
Our Granger Lady Lions JV Basketball Team will be in action tomorrow in the Georgetown Lady Eagle Freshman Basketball tournament. See the attached game times!

The Granger High School Powerlifting team competed at the Holland Invitational tonight. Many athletes set personal records and we are waiting on the results to be posted for each division! Proud of the hard work from our kids. We will be at the Rogers invitational next Saturday!
The Lady Lions basketball teams hosted Milano tonight at the Lions Den. Junior varsity came up with a solid team win. Unfortunately, varsity faced too many challenges and fell short of the win. Up next, JV tournament in Georgetown tomorrow and then all teams at Thrall Tuesday.
