The Jr High Lady Lions traveled to take on the Bartlett Lassies tonight. The mixed team won in a nail biting 3 set game with Alicia Valverde coming in hot with her serves & movement on the court. The 7th grade game didn’t end how we wanted but they worked hard & played as a team. The 8th grade team dominated a 2 set win with their team work, skill & scrappiness, while Rylinn Hamby was on point with her serving. Great job Lady Lions 🦁

Both the 7th & 8th grade Volleyball teams competed in the Holland tournament today. While we didn't come out on top in the end, we're incredibly proud of the progress and improvement both teams have made. In every game, we gave it our all, and it showed. Our teamwork was outstanding, and the determination on the court was palpable. We faced some tough opponents, but we never backed down. We are so proud of how far the girls have come since the beginning of the season. We've honed our skills, sharpened our kills, and fine-tuned our strategies. The growth we've seen in each player is a testament to the dedication and hard work put in during practice.
On Monday the team will travel to take on the Bartlett Lassies. Go Lady Lions 🦁

The Lady Lions swept Chilton this morning at the Lions den! JV A won in 2 sets. Varsity won in 4 sets! All 3 teams will travel to Gateway on Tuesday.

Let’s give it up for our Granger Lions and Lady Lions Cross Country Teams!! Their commitment, passion, and determination has made me extremely proud today!! Cohen Repa coming in 3rd place received a medal! 🏅Eva Ramirez 5th and Landon Hernandez 4th also received medals! 🏅 We ran a tough course today and out athletes showed us how working hard in practice pays off.
We want to thank all the parents, aunts, uncles and any other family member that continues to show up at meets!! You guys show these kids so much support and I truly appreciate everything you do for this team! #XC2023 #GOLIONS

The Granger Lions JH and JV football teams were in action tonight on the road in Goldthwaite. While each team fought hard the Lions fell short in all 3 games with each team giving it everything they had! They will be off next week but back in action the following! Go Lions!

🦁💜 Granger Lion Football Coach and Athletic Director, Stephen Brosch presented a special game ball, DonorsChoice.org gift card, and an Extra Yard T-shirt & bag to science teacher Mrs. Karen Laurenzi for her devotion and dedication to help all kids succeed in her science classes.
Mrs. Laurenzi was nominated by multiple Lion Football Players for her support and willingness to go above and beyond in helping them succeed academically.
"Mrs. Laurenzi teaches a hard class, but she makes things fun, interesting, and above all, she is always willing to explain things in different ways so that we all understand. She believes in all of us and she shows that all the time."

Both teams were unstoppable power houses with Carleigh Roznovak, Trinity Neatherlin & Baylee Carey serving 7 or more aces for the 7A team & Rylinn Hamby, Aurbrie Gourbec and Skyla Thorsen serving 9 or more aces for the 8A team.
