We are beyond proud of our Spelling Team and their coach! The entire team placed individually and they placed 1st as a team. They put in a lot of hard work and it payed off!
Our Literary Criticism team also did well. Lola Finch received 2nd and will be advancing. As a team they placed 2nd and are alternate to regionals.
Granger High School took 11 students yesterday to Thrall to compete in UIL Academic Writing events. Friday, 14 students will travel to Brenham for the remaining events. We are so proud of all their hard work and dedication.

The Lady Lion softball team dropped a tough game at home to the Bremond Lady Tigers. They will be back in action Friday at home vs. Bartlett. Keep fighting!

What a great season for these boys! We went to 5 track meets and came home with 4 trophies, including 2nd place overall in the district meet last night. Great way to finish the season as they head to high school next year.
What a great first track season for these guys. The future is looking bright in Granger. They had tremendous successes this season, and have laid a great foundation for the future.

A successful night in Thrall for the boys track team. Several season bests and personal bests, finishing 5th overall out of 11 teams. Next up is the district meet next Wednesday in Holland.
The Lady Lion softball team had an early lead in the first inning but later found themselves tied going into the bottom of the 7th. Timely hitting and a passed ball, Payton Filla scored from 3rd base for the victory. 11-10. Next game will be Tuesday in Granger @6pm vs Bremond.

The Lady Lions started the second half of district with win over Rosebud-Lott, 12-6. Congrats Ari Herrera and Izzy Tavernier on your home runs. The JV squad played well but came up short 4-6. Next game Thursday in Granger vs Holland JV @4 varsity @6.
