Due to field conditions, the Granger vs Chilton softball game is scheduled for Monday, April 14th in Marlin at 5pm.

Due to field conditions the Baseball game against Chilton has been postponed to Monday at 4:30 in Marlin.

We had a great kickoff for JH Tennis today in Taylor! Several players showed improvement between matches and everyone put in some good work. Our next meet is Tuesday, 4/16, in Rockdale!

The JH Tennis meet has been rescheduled to tomorrow in Taylor! Wednesday, April 10th. Please remind your student to bring a water bottle and sunscreen with them to school.

Lion Baseball fell short to Thrall 8-0. Great effort. Lions back in action Tuesday.

The Lady Lions fell short in a hard fought battle with the Thrall Tigerettes 10-9. Congrats to Ari Herrera and Kinsey Vitek on their homerun. They will be back in action Tuesday versus Chilton in Marlin.


Congratulations to Lola Finch, Leeah Malone, and Eliana Flores on their placement in writing UIL. Lola will be continuing on to compete at regionals.

High School UIL traveled to Brenham to compete today. Let's go Lions!


The Lady Lion softball team jumped out to an early 2 run lead but couldn't hold on and lost in the bottom of the 7th 3-2. They will be back in action at Noon Saturday in Thrall.

We are beyond proud of our Spelling Team and their coach! The entire team placed individually and they placed 1st as a team. They put in a lot of hard work and it payed off!


Our Literary Criticism team also did well. Lola Finch received 2nd and will be advancing. As a team they placed 2nd and are alternate to regionals.


Granger High School took 11 students yesterday to Thrall to compete in UIL Academic Writing events. Friday, 14 students will travel to Brenham for the remaining events. We are so proud of all their hard work and dedication.
