Due to two schools dropping out of district play, our football schedule has changed. Because of this, Homecoming Week has also been moved as well. Homecoming Spirit Week will now be Wednesday, October 15 – Friday, October 17.

In recognition of Custodial Staff appreciation week we would like to express our greatest appreciation to our lead custodian, Mrs. Janice Hajda. Janice is completing her 18th year with Granger ISD. When asked what was something she wanted to share about her time at Granger ISD Janice said. "Both of my kids graduated from our school, I have seen a lot of growth for our school, and that my grandson will be a future Lion! 🦁 Thank you Mrs Janice for all of your hard work, commitment, and love towards Granger ISD!

The Granger Marching Band had an outstanding showing at the Capital City Marching Festival in Austin earlier today. Of the 2A-4A bands in attendance, Granger received 2nd place!
This is a great result for their first competition of the season. Please join us in congratulating them and cheering them on as they continue preparing for their future competitions!
Thank you to everyone that came out and were loud today as the Lady Lions Varsity and JV-A volleyball took down Thorndale. JV-B had a hard fought game losing in 3 sets. Varsity volleyball remains undefeated in district going 3-0 now.
The 7th grade volleyball team attended the Rockdale JH Tournament today. They played against Giddings, Lamar, and Travis for three skill developing games learning new roles and positions.
Catch all three junior high teams in action on Monday, 9/29, in the Lions Den. Mixed team plays first starting at 5pm.

The Junior High and JV football teams battled hard against Bartlett and Jarrell tonight in the Lions Den!
The JH won 36-14, and the JV came up short 30-20. Two hard fought games by our Lions!
The JH Lady Lions took on the Bartlett Lassies tonight in volleyball. Both teams went to three hard fought sets. The 7th grade team squeezed out a win, while the 8th grade team battled to the end. Looking forward to attending the Rockdale tournament on Saturday!
