Happy New Year!! We are welcoming in the 2012 with lots of fun and exciting things happening at Granger. First, let me introduce myself, Carlin Hohman. I am the ELA (English Language Arts) teacher for 6th and 7th grades. This is my sixth year at Granger, previously I taught in Round Rock third grade, physical education and fifth grade. My husband and I have 3 children, Ryan 25 years old, he is currently serving in the army and is stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington state with his wife of two years Christi. Tracie is 22, and will graduate from Texas A&M in May,She is hoping to continue her studies next fall to become a PA. Shelby is 20 and is currently a private in the army, training to become a medic and eventually a registered nurse. We have lived in Texas for 27 years, however I still bleed Nebraska Red!. I am currently teaching 6th grade writing, 7th grade ELA, and I am also head volleyball coach, assistant basketball and softball. I am very excited and proud to be teaching the children of Granger and find it a great honor. GO LIONS!
