Granger Lions Take on Moody Bearcats
The Moody Bearcats traveled to Granger Sept. 3rd to play. The Lions came out strong winning the first game 28-26. The next three games were won by the Bearcats 17-25,12-25,19-25. Leading the Lions in serving were senior Samantha Peeples, and freshman Madison Outlaw. Assists were led by senior Maribel Lizardo, junior Kelly Johnson and sophomore Ciera Strmiska. Kills were led by Peeples and Outlaw. Julia Derning, Alyssa Wade , Brooke Cole and Ande Scott also battled hard for the Lions. The Lady Lions will play the Vandergrift Vipers Tuesday, September 7th. They will opening district game against the Bartlett Bulldogs on September 11.
