Friday Football Kicks Off
After their first scrimmages against Thorndale, Flatonia, and Hallettsville, the Granger Lions will get their first taste of a full fledged game Friday August 27th. The Johnson City Eagles will roll into town to test the “kings of the jungle” at Lion Stadium, starting at 7:30p.m. The Granger coaching staff has high hopes as they have seen a great deal of improvement in the players since the first practice in 2 a days. Coach Wisdom remarked, “These guys give us everything they have each practice, and we return the effort as coaches- that is what brings a team together and makes a successful season.”
