Granger Takes 2nd in Whitney
The Granger Lion Baseball team returned from their weekend tournament in Whitney with a second place trophy. After a four game pool play to seed the teams, Granger emerged with a record of 3-1 (beating Waco Connolly, Hillsboro, Meridian, and losing to Corsicana Mildred) to put them into the 3rd seeding spot. After winning their first game Saturday morning and advancing to the Championship Game, Granger lost to Corsicana Mildred 5-8 taking second place.
