5 Granger High School Students Receive Student Achievement Awards

Daniel Graves, Katherine Jones, Courtney Mattice, Alexandra Reed, and Trevor Schwitzer received the Texas Student Achievement Award from their scores on the PLAN test taken in 2008-2009 school year. The PLAN test is a Pre-ACT test given to sophomores to check for College Readiness. These students are on target to meet or exceed ACT's College Readiness Benchmarks in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. Only 16.5% of Texas PLAN tested students reached that level of proficiency. Congratulations to these students, their parents and teachers for reaching this milestone in their education.
