The Granger Boys Track team tallied 97 points to take a first
place tie with Milano in the District 28A Track Meet held last
Thursday in Thrall. After a disappointing outing in the field
events the Granger Lions ran their way to victory. " We knew we
were behind after the field events, so we put our concentration on
getting as many kids out to the Area Meet as possible". In the end
it all paid off as the Lions were able to come from behind and
catch the team from Milano.
Those who are advancing to the area meet this Wednesday in
Thrall are the 1st - 4th place finishes in the events listed
below. Those who place 1st - 4th at the Area level
will advance to the Regional Meet in Huntsville at the end of the
month.

" I am extremely proud of our team and what they have
accomplished this season. We ran at several tough meets with
schools larger than ourselves, but we were always able to compete.
I kept telling them it would pay off." I thank the kids for their
efforts and I look forward to the meets to come." Well done guys!!!
