Granger Independent School District is a public school district established in 1887. The district serves pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade students. Granger High School is classified as 2-A by the University Interscholastic League.

Inclement Weather Procedures
Information on how Granger ISD will respond if there is a need to address severe weather conditions: — A district representative will investigate the designated bus routes at 5 a.m. to determine conditions on bridges and low lying areas. If there is a need to cancel school or implement a late start, a message will be sent out via the Granger ISD call-out system at 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. as well as a posting on our district website and notifying local television news stations. You can also connect with us on Facebook and Twitter at the links at the bottom of the page. The safety of our students is the main concern in situations such as these. Thank you and have a nice day!
